The bread knife is designed to slice fresh bread from very thin to Texas toast size. It's also great for slicing tomatoes and onions. We use Ambrosia Maple in our products, the variation of colors and streaks is not a defect they add Character to the product. Ambrosia Maple is one of the most unique and stunning hardwoods available today. Hailing from North America, this maple variety is characterized by its beautiful grain patterns and vibrant colors. There can be holes in the wood, and it is one of the more expensive Maples.
